In addition to ‘squishy’, after reviewing my submitted intraplate ground motion data, the National Geodetic Survey has politely asked me to stop using the word ‘supple’ so often when describing Midwestern states.
It’s a feature, not a bug. We have 10,000 lakes because MN is a sponge being squeezed.
Literally me at company meetings.
They’re really comfortable telling me to shut up at them. I consider it victory.
Give them another ice age so they can stretch out :(
