“To see your response to the film has re-invigorated me and many others who believe in this art form,” the filmmakers says.
- It’s not that people don’t “believe in this art form” anymore, it’s a combination of the consistent release of crappy movies (superhero junk, remakes, sequels and prequels…) plus overpriced movie tickets… - True, but the result for me at least was that I started to believe that the medium itself was too limited to produce competent output, besides happy accidents. This movie restored my faith a little in both the medium and the audiences. 
 
- Come on man… ‘A Necessary Pillar of Society’ is a pretty silly thing to say - Hard disagree. Purely from a commerce perspective, it’s contributes as much to GDP as the utilities and the mining sectors do. - And it’s one of the few things that will maybe keep people sane as late stage capitalism death spirals out of control.
