pro tip, lemmy doesn’t support selfhosted gifs at the moment. Your best bet is redgif for now

Auto play may depend on your app/viewer and settings. I see lots of gifs hosted by redgifs that autoplay.

You have NSFW posts blurred and not autoplay until you click on them. You can change it though.
