I’ll allow it as they are already shipping people out on military aircraft. Almost 100 to Guatamala already.

It’s worth noting that these raids and arrests are warrantless which is in violation of the Constitution.

As a complete foreigner may I ask a dumb question: are non-citizens protected by the constitution?

Boy, this constitution is being broken all the time. Almost as it’s just a suggestion…

I agree. Although this crackdown –for lack of a better term– is arguably setting a new precedent that may socially and politically (not morally) justify similar actions by other governments and also serve, to some extent, as a political, legal, operational and diplomatic blueprint, not every detail of it –however appalling– is news of worldwide relevance.

People are getting too comfortable with the idea of ripping someone out of their country because they have the wrong skin color/dont have documents saying they’re a part of that country… even if they’re from a war torn country or face persecution.

I’m generally just kind of turned off by US politics in general, and that’s why i subscribe to this community. [email protected] or [email protected] are probably better for this.

But i do agree with you, this is relevant. Just barely constitutes it imo

They are arresting people. They need to investigate if those people are immigrant, then investigate if they are there under an irregular status, then they have to investigate in order to find out if any crime has been commited.

People is not illegal. Those arrests/detentions seem to be the illegal part.
